Amara Cash has worn many hats, but none fits as perfectly as director. She is a founding partner of the Los Angeles based Under 1 Roof Productions. Her films include Night Shed, I’ll Eat You Alive, and her debut feature, Daddy Issues. For Amara, directing means being fully immersed in every aspect of the project from its concept through edit. She explores life’s inherent dichotomies with a fresh vision and vivid imagination, she finds inspiration everywhere and loves bringing dark themes to life in a beautiful way.

Peter Marcy is a Minnesota-based filmmaker who creates micro-budget features. By necessity, he is a director, writer, producer, cinematographer, actor, editor, sound designer, visual effects creator, and music composer. His first feature, the sci-fi drama Firefly (2005), won Best Sci-Fi Feature and Best Director at the International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival.

Get Super Rad is made up of Chris Rosik and Rob Cousineau—two experienced content creators well versed in both commercial production and filmmaking. Together, they've created work for brands such as Ford Motor company, Chevy, and GM. As filmmakers, the duo looks to tell deeply human stories in a style that's unmistakably their own. In addition to their award-winning first feature FUTURE, CR & RC are finishing a feature-length documentary film, CAN'T SEE SH*T.

Michael Widger is a 2x SAMMY Award winning hip-hop artist who transitioned to filmmaking in his early 20's. One of his first short films "Alone Together" received the juror's choice award from the Theodore Case film festival in 2008, and his first mid-length film "THE END of Syracuse NY" was highly regarded by the Syracuse International film festival in 2010. He is known to include his own children as prominent roles in his films, most of which can be found on his youtube page (DooWiTTle).

Wayne is a media consultant who started his trajectory into indie cinema with Amiga Video Toasters in the 90's. He has worked in cable television, and helped write/pass the first Wisconsin Film Incentives. Wayne was the founder and director of It Came From Lake Michigan Film Festival 2006-2008. He has produced a number of films. Most recently under the Made Men Production banner, including the gangster short HOLD CARD, and the doco THE MILWAUKEE MAFIA: FRANK BALISTRIERI.

Carlos Nahuel Cerutti is a filmmaker and writer that has been making shorts since 2012. After graduating in 2016 from the Universidad de Palermo (Argentina) with a Bachelor's Degree in Audiovisual Communication, Carlos moved to Chicago to pursue an MFA in Cinema Directing at Columbia College Chicago. You can also find him performing improv comedy around Chicago in places like the iO Theater, CiC, The Playground and others.

Paul von Stoetzel has directed over 30 short films/music videos and as many plays in the Twin Cities area including his feature documentary, SNUFF: a documentary about killing on camera which has won numerous awards while also receiving major North American distribution as did his second documentary Scrap. His company, Killing Joke Films, is now preparing the literary adaptation of acclaimed writer Ed Kurtz's horror novel BLEED into a episodic series while also producing numerous short films and music videos.

Stewart Jay Koski is an award-winning independent filmmaker, and an art director with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He received his Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Film from Vermont College of Fine Arts. His work dives deep into the horror of the unknown and frequently relates to the midwest region.

Jack Birdsall was born in Huntington, Indiana and raised in Kiev, Ukraine as a child of missionaries. He grew an affinity for films and photography at a young age, raised on Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. He studied film at Northwestern University (class of ’17), where he wrote and directed a number of short films about death and outer space. He is currently based in Chicago, Illinois.

(HOW TO TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT ED GEIN)
Steve Chappell (CHAP) is an artist who expresses his ideas in various media. He loves comics, and his graphic novel STARK PLUG BOOK was published in 2017 (google it!). He is presently at work on an animated film which features the same character, STARK PLUG. CHAP is also an on-again-off-again printmaker who has produced hundreds of woodcut prints over the years rendered in a representational and cartoonish style that he so loves. HOW TO TALK TO YOUR KIDS ABOUT ED GEIN is a film completed in 2017, but using footage (shot by CHAP’s wife Kathleen) in 1997. This film is a good reflection of a typical weekend in the life of the Chappell family, and CHAP actually did think about making the film for 20 years! He just wanted to wait until the kids were old enough, and mature enough to get their permission to be featured in a weird film, and not risk exploiting them for the sake of ART.

Nic Thorson is a Wisconsin born Producer working out of Los Angeles. Since graduating from University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in 2008, he has worked on major television programs and independent feature films. As one half of "An Artist's Pride" he produces and directs narrative and documentary shorts.

Travis Prow is a seasoned Cinematographer from Los Angeles. His diverse resume lends itself well to a multitude of projects, as the man behind camera for many supernatural and sci-fi shorts, features, and television programs. Travis founded "An Artist's Pride" in 2008 and continues to focus on narrative and documentary content.
JED SCHLEGELMILCH

Jed Schlegelmilch is an award winning filmmaker from St. Louis Park, Minnesota. He grew up in Wisconsin and attended college at UW-Milwaukee. His first film, Absence/Presence, showed at numerous film festivals, including the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival. His most recent film, Unmasking, received a Merit Award of Awareness from the Awareness Film Festival in Los Angeles and won Best Documentary at the Mespies Film Festival in Minneapolis. Whistle, Hawk & Spit is Jed’s first music video. Little else is known about him.
